Robo-One 10 champion King Kizer will be at Robo-One 11! King Kizer was built by the Maru Family. The Maru Family has been getting King Kizer ready for Robo-One 11 by adding 2 Sharp GP2D12 optoelectronic distance sensors on the sides in addition to the one in the front. This is so he can sense how far away the other robot is, because if the other robot is too far away for him to punch or kick he will not do it. Some of the stuff that King Kizer already has is:
A master/slave upper body control.
2 gyro sensors.
1 accelerometer.
Everything runs off a 11.1 volt, 2,100 mA lithium polymer battery pack.
King Kizer is 330 mm high and weighs 1.5 kg so he will fall under the 3 kg weight class.
Here is an example of the sensors on the sides:
This was a very exciting match between King Kizer and Retro:
Here is an example of King Kizer’s jumping ability:
You can get King Kizer wall paper for your computer from his website.
I think it is good possibility that King Kizer will win Robo-One 11.
